Are you thristy?

Are you giving your body the amount of water it needs to stay hydrated? Do you know each person needs different amounts of water to stay hydrated? It depends on our activity level, weather, age, and medical condition. If you feel dry mouth, fatigue, headache, dizziness or lightheaded, you might have signs of dehydration.

During this summer, you can start a good habit today! Drink more water! You can flavor your water with fruit or herbs for some fun. Use lemons, limes, oranges, strawberries, kiwis, cucumbers, grapes, watermelons, mint, basil, ginger, or rosemary.

This afternoon I just made this fruit-infused water with blueberries, kiwis, oranges, and ice. It tastes really good and refreshing! If you have some ideas, please share them with me!!

You can use this hydration calculator to keep track of your daily water intake: http://nutrition.about.com/library/blwatercalculator.htm
